Taking on the World, One Country at a Time
Exploring the world has been a long-time dream of ours, but it always seemed so unaffordable, especially to do it in a way that reduces the amount of stress usually associated with it! We continue to look for new resources and methods to do just that, and this website is determined to provide meaningful tips and/or hidden features to help you travel along with us, making travel easy. Follow this site as we discover together what thousands of others have practiced for a long time, but didn’t share! We will update this site on a regular basis and include a blog of our travels, the idea being not to show pictures of ourselves in exotic destinations but rather to show you what places of interest are both easy and affordable to visit, many of which you may not have thought about before. We will attempt to answer questions or provide links to sources that may provide additional help, in other words, we will attempt to provide a LEG UP ON TRAVEL! Oh, the legs…I have been known to post pictures from most locations with my legs up on balconies, benches, chairs, and whatever else is convenient, but mostly cruise ship balconies!

How we became active travelers
When we married in 2010 we were given a cruise to Bermuda as a wedding gift. We had already been to Alaska and the Mexican riviera but somehow this one had an impact. We started planning additional cruises, mostly on Royal Caribbean, and began ramping up our adventures in 2017, reaching Pinnacle loyalty status in 2019. After visiting most of the areas Royal Caribbean services around the world, we made a concerted effort to try other lines to enhance our experience. To date, we have been on more than 120 ocean cruises on several different cruise lines, as well as several different river cruise companies. We have been to countless airports and cruise ports, and flown too many airlines to mention. We subscribe to most of the “points” gurus and follow their paths to flying first and business class most of the time (all of which we will share with you). We continue to look for new ways to enhance our travel experience and will happily share these as they happen!
